I now offer a website promotion service to help people to attract additional visitors to their website.

I believe in the importance of one way backward links. Some people make the mistake of purchasing one or two links on a high value page and think that this is enough. This is actually quite dangerous as paid links are frowned upon by the major search engines.

I think it is necessary to have a number of pr2, pr3, pr4, pr5 and a few pr6, pr7 backward links pointing to your website. These are what I obtain on behalf of my clients, they are not paid links but ones that other webmasters are happy to give, these webmasters are friends and contacts of mine.
